cheese, but it was now my worst nightmare. My life had become
unbearable!

I was determined to beat this sickness! My doctor couldn't help me -no
one could tell me what to do. I had to heal myself. I became completely
dedicated to finding the answers. I studied and researched. I wanted to

Hey Charles - great reading!
I've been off Nexium for about a month and still feel some of the
symptoms that I never had before Nexium. I took the pill on and off for
about six months and found myself having like panic attacks, breathing
problems, chest pains, and was only able to eat bland foods. I'm 54 yrs
(hardly ever even take an aspirin) old but have been in great shape and
exercised all the time (5 days a week before Nexium).
I ended up in the ER thinking something was wrong with my heart. They
performed the entire group of tests EKG, blood work and X-ray.
Everything normal. (Cost out of pocket by the way about $1200 thanks to
Nexium).
Thank you for taking the time to write about this - it did help me to
learn how to get this drug out of my system. Now I am finally able to
digest food again. This is certainly a powerful drug! There isn't much
on the web about the real effects of this drug so it's people like you
that take the time to give us some direction.
I can see why people can't get off of it. I work for myself so I could
muscle through the real bad days, but any company would have fired me
because lot's of days I just could not function. I would have been left
with a couple of choices to muscle through and maybe loose a job or 2,
or continue to take it. Maybe I'm a very unique case but this drug
really put a hurt`in on me. I've been taking martial arts for years and
this drug caused me more pain than anything I could experience in
getting kicked around the dojo.

Dear Charles,
Thank you so much for putting this information together! Six months
ago I had an EGD performed to dislodge a food bolus. Before that time I
didn't know what reflux was. I used antacids maybe once every couple of
months, usually after eating a huge plate of mexican. A bottle of
Rolaids would usually last about 3 years! However, that all changed
after the procedure. The doctor then put me on Prilosic. It helped for
a while then when it stopped working I was switched to Prevacid and
then finally to Nexium and Zantac. When the Nexium and Zantac stopped
working I was told to double up on the dose. That resulted in 80mg of
Nexium and 300mg of Zantac a day. Crazy! I knew that that was not a
long term solution and even though he wouldn't admit to it, I could
tell the doc was out of options. My dire straits overcame my skepticism
and I got a copy of your ebook - Best thing I ever did! Now, after a
couple of weeks on the regimen the symptoms are 99% subsided and best
of all: NO MEDS!
